The Hapton Heritage Group invited Professor Richard Horrocks to give a fantastic talk about the Hameldon Rifle Range to the local community.
The group are most grateful to Richard and his colleague Bill Flentje for preparing this talk which really brought to life the range which is a key part of Hapton’s Heritage. Thanks are also due to the Hapton Methodist Church for allowing use the use of their building and facilities
Richard and Bill have very kindly allowed us to add to our website Richard’s Presentation and Bill’s wider summary of the Rifle Ranges in the Accrington and Burnley areas.
The talk was well attended by members of the local community and from further afield and we would be please to receive suggestions for future talks and activities via the Facebook page.
